Degenerate Art Ensemble intimate house performance in Seattle
Saturday, April 29, 2017 - two showings: 4pm & 8pm
Degenerate Art Ensemble's Haruko Crow Nishimura and Joshua Kohl will perform a work in progress in the intimate setting of the lovely Queene Anne home of Walter Harley and Anne Suster. Two performances on April 29th at 4pm and 8pm.
We are embarking on new project which is in the very beginning seed stage: raw and vulnerable. There will be songs and dances inspired by selected fairy tales that resonate with us and resemble the phases and stories in our own lives. Come hang out with us and enjoy our work-in-progress. The early stage of making a piece is one of our favorite times to share our work. Especially in an intimate setting away from the theater. This house showing is inspired by performance salons we have hosted in our own home.
Aspects of this current work will be developed into a virtual reality film later this year.
We hope you will join us!
